Naim Lamidov was born on May 3, 1956, in Samarkand, Rep. Uzbekistan, (former USSR). In 1975 he graduated from the art school named after. Alimova. In 1983 he graduated from the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts. Since 1985 he has been living and working in Moscow. In 1993, Naim Lamidov went to Bulgaria, where he painted over 100 paintings, which, as a result, remain in the fund of the Ministry of Culture of Bulgaria and in private collections. In 1996 he took part in a collective exhibition with the support of the US Embassy in Moscow. In 1998 he holds a personal exhibition with the support of the Australian Cultural Foundation in Moscow.
Since 1999, paintings by Naim Lamidov have been participating in the Sotheby's auction.
In 2001-2011, Naim Lamidov exhibited in private and state galleries in Russia, Europe and the United States.
In 2013, the artist makes his debut at Christie's auction sites. Naim
Lamidov is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
